GARRISON UFSD PRE-K LOTTERY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Garrison Union Free School District will likely need to conduct a lottery for Pre‑K enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year. Our Pre‑K program is capped at 18 students, and at this time, we are projected to exceed that limit.

To be eligible for the lottery, fully completed registration applications are due by 4:00 PM on Monday, March 30, 2026.  If more than 18 complete applications are received by the deadline, a lottery will be required.

Families will be notified on April 1 if a lottery is necessary, and eligible families will receive their assigned lottery number at that time. If held, the lottery will take place on Wednesday, April 8, from 6:30–7:00 PM in the Learning Commons and will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel. Families are welcome to attend the lottery in-person or watch the livestream.

Families selected for a placement will be officially notified on Thursday, April 9, and must confirm acceptance by Monday, April 13, by 4:00 PM via a form provided by the district.

Families are encouraged to complete registration as soon as possible.
